Slate Digital Trigger Platinum... My Thoughts.

Slate Digital Trigger Platinum is a Drum Replacement Software Plugin that Allows You to Replace Your Recorded Drum Tracks Using Slate Digital’s Pre-Loaded Drum Kits or Your Own Drum Samples. It Also Serves as a Drum Enhancer. You Can Use It in Any DAW and It Comes in All Plugin Formats.

Drum Replacement is a Common Studio Trick Used When Live Drums or Electronic Drums Sounds That Have Been Recorded Poorly, Don’t Sit in the Mix Well. Drums Can Be Enhanced or Removed Based on The Transient Patterns in a Song. One of the Cool Features in Slate Digital’s Trigger Platinum is that You Can Blend a Drum Sound, Live or Electronic, With the Recorded Drum Sound or Completely Replace It.

I Really Like the ASR Envelope Feature That Allows You to Tighten Up the Drum or Sample to Remove the Reverb or Delay, Audio Trash, or Resonance Commonly Associated With A Drum Sample. You Can Also Separate the Transients By Frequency Using a High or Low Pass Filter. This is Especially Useful When You Want to Fine Tune and Capture the Right Drum Sound or Sample and There is Bleed-Over From Other Drum Sounds on the Same Track.

This Tool is Pretty Straight Forward and Easy to Use and Quite Convenient. It Has Saved Me From Having to Manually Align a Horribly Recorded Take of a Drum Kick or Snare. With That Said, My Slate Digital Fans Let Me Know What You Think.

I Give This Drum Replacer Tool a 4.0 out of 5 WOWs.
